Yes, being a Christian and being in the church is hard for lots of reasons. But, even with all the difficulty, being a Christian in the church is actually what you and everyone in the world should want because our fellowship is with the living God and his Son, Jesus Christ. The big question is what does our communion/fellowship with God look like? How is God with us and how are we with him? We need to run to prayer, the Bible, and the sacraments and how we get God with those means of grace.
