Colossians: Praying and Witnessing

False teaching about how to experience the presence of God is spreading in the church at Colossae. So, Paul writes this letter from prison to the Colossians. His two goals are that the Colossians would both pray to God for the spread of the gospel inside and outside the church and witness for Christ to those inside and outside the Church. The main point of Colossians has been summed up as “speaking to God about people” and “speaking to people about God”.
