Covenant Theology Part 6: God's Covenant of Works with Israel at Sinai

In Part 6 we see that God makes a covenant with Israel at Sinai after the Exodus as a first stage fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant. This covenant at Sinai is where God constitutes the people of Israel as his theocratic nation on earth and he gives them the land of Canaan as their realm. We will see that the way Israel gets to retain their land and their nationhood is according to a measure of obedience. That is, the ongoing possession of these kingdom blessings depends on obedience and therefore this covenant made at Sinai is properly called a covenant of works.
