There is more to life than we can see. The Book of Daniel is full of tales and visions that reveal the fantastical supernatural realities of this life. Daniel assures us that God is in control even though we desperately want to be in control. The fantasy nature of Daniel is supposed to jolt us awake to see the world as it really is so that we can keep persevering in the faith.
